Thermal insulation
Thermal insulation of your building is essential today.
It ideally starts with roof insulation, as the roof is the main source of heat loss. Once your roof is insulated, you can consider insulating other parts of your building. We will be there to guide you every step of the way.
Roof insulation
If you are not planning a complete roof replacement but only wish to insulate it, we will proceed with interior roof insulation. This is particularly suitable if your attic remains a storage space. However, if you wish to convert this space into a living area without replacing the entire roof, interior insulation is also an option. In most cases, the existing insulation, which is outdated and inefficient, will need to be removed and replaced with new insulation.
What materials should be used for interior roof insulation?
Roof without an underlay or vapor barrier
If your roof lacks an underlay or vapor barrier, rock wool and glass wool cannot be used. Instead, rigid insulation boards such as PU panels, which are moisture-resistant, will be installed. These super-insulating boards require less thickness than rock wool or cellulose while providing the same insulation value. We ensure that the insulation meets current regional standards.
Roof with an underlay and vapor barrier
For roofs with an underlay, ecological materials such as glass wool or rock wool can be used. For a seamless, highly efficient, and eco-friendly result, we recommend blown-in insulation with glass wool, rock wool, or cellulose flakes. This process involves enlarging the rafters, installing a vapor barrier, and injecting insulation through sealed openings.
Floor insulation
Floor insulation can be done in two ways:
- Installing insulation on top of the floor
- Installing insulation underneath via the basement or crawl space
Insulating from below
This can be achieved by spraying polyurethane foam or by placing interlocking PU insulation boards, sealed with special adhesive tape. Both methods are suitable for ventilated crawl spaces, provided there is at least 70 cm of clearance.
Insulating from above
Sometimes, the existing floor must be removed before insulation can be installed. This is necessary if you are also planning to replace your floor covering.
Wall insulation

Once your roof is insulated, you can move on to wall insulation, which can be applied either inside or outside.
Interior wall insulation
Possible techniques include:
- Installing insulation boards
- Using 2-in-1 boards (insulation + plasterboard) for faster implementation
- Creating a metal framework and injecting eco-friendly insulation between the structure and a vapor barrier
This process requires moving radiators, electrical outlets, and switches. But don’t worry – we handle all adaptations and coordination.
Exterior wall insulation
Exterior insulation will alter the appearance of your façade, so you must consult your local urban planning department for regulations. A permit is required before starting the work.
The process involves setting up scaffolding, installing PU or EPS insulation panels, and making adjustments to window sills, gutters, and downspouts. The façade is then finished with wood cladding, crepi, or facing bricks.
We take care of everything, from insulation to finishing.
