Acoustic insulation
Acoustic insulation: protect your home from noise
Soundproofing your home significantly increases your living comfort. Consider it during major renovation works, especially before installing a new floor covering!
Wall soundproofing
Are you disturbed by noise from adjoining walls? You can reduce this by installing a thin but highly effective acoustic insulator that absorbs sound vibrations passing through the wall. For maximum effectiveness, we use high-quality panels such as Sempatap or Pan-terre. Pan-terre produces acoustic panels made from recycled paper, an excellent choice for those concerned about the ecological impact of their insulation work.
Floor soundproofing
Similarly, you can install soundproofing under a floor to absorb impact noise from the upper floor. This is done with relatively flexible insulation panels, no more than one centimeter thick, placed directly beneath your flooring.
Additionally, if there is an empty space—such as in a false ceiling or between beams—you can have glass wool blown in. This technique avoids the need to completely rebuild the false ceiling: a few small openings between the beams are enough to inject the acoustic insulation in flake form.
