Extension & Additional Floor

Feeling cramped in your home? Need extra space? Depending on the layout of your property, we can build an extension using brick, wood, or a metal framework based on your architect’s plans. Additionally, we can add an extra floor beneath your pitched roof or on top of your flat roof.

Since this modifies your home’s structure, you will need to obtain a building permit from your local urban planning department. Make sure to consider this in your project planning!

Building an Extension in Brick or Wood

Your extra room will either be built in solid form or with a wooden or metal framework.

Whichever technique you choose, you will have to erect all the walls, install interior or exterior insulation, finish the exterior (roughcast, wood or brick), lay the interior ceiling, the screed, technical installations, floor covering, suspended ceiling, spotlights, etc. Again, if the work is spread over several months, with us you have the advantage of having a single point of contact and a single work coordinator.

Building an Additional Floor

On a flat roof

If your existing flat roof can support the weight of an extra floor, then an upper-level extension can be built similarly to a ground-floor annex.

On a pitched roof

If you wish to add an extra floor under a pitched roof, the existing roof must first be removed. We then build the walls in brick and construct the new floor with either a flat or pitched roof.

Since we manage all trades involved and fully coordinate the work, we provide a simple solution for what is normally a complex transformation. We pay close attention to safety and hold regular meetings to review progress. This ensures minimal surprises and a smooth construction process.
